Is this Malaysia’s official haze index?
No. We show modelled PM2.5 and PM10 concentrations and the provider’s US AQI. Malaysia’s official Air Pollutant Index (API) uses a different scale. For station readings and official guidance, visit APIMS, operated by the Department of Environment. An air-quality value alone does not establish whether smoke haze is present.
How current are these readings?
The panel checks for new data every 15 minutes. Each weather and air-quality card shows the time of its own model reading, which can differ from the time you refreshed the page. Readings more than three hours old are marked as older data. A missing value appears as a dash, never as zero.
What do rain chance and peak UV mean?
Rain chance is the forecast’s maximum precipitation probability for that day. Peak UV is the forecast daily maximum UV index. “Rain now” is the modelled precipitation total for the preceding 15-minute interval. The temperature pair shows the day’s forecast high and low.
Are the clock and sunrise times local?
All times use Asia/Kuching, Malaysia Time (UTC+8), even when you’re browsing from another country. The clock follows your device’s time; sunrise and sunset refer to the selected city and local date. Your last selected city is remembered on this device when browser storage is available.
